Welcome to Royston Runners
We have been an active volunteer led running club since 1985 and are based at the Heath Sports Club in Royston, Hertfordshire.

Royston Runners is a friendly, inclusive running club with strong ‘family and social values’ which aims to;
Encourage members of all abilities to enjoy and to have fun through running.
Promote the health and fitness of Members.
Provide social activities for Members their families and friends.
Foster friendship.
Promote competition with participation in a range of events and races.
We are affiliated with English Athletics and governed by their policies and assurances. With all our coaches and run leaders qualified and licensed to coach and, with our club officials, DBS checked.

The Club meets several times a week. Offering Monday circuit training, Tuesday club runs, coached sessions every Thursday and with our partners Meridian Tri Club a track away day at Ridlins Athletic Track the last Wednesday of each month.

We participate in several inter-club race events:
The RunHertsLeague for both the summer mid-week league and the winter Sunday cross-country league.
The Arkwright Summer 5k series with running clubs across Cambridgeshire and Essex.
The Club also runs two events open to runners across the UK; The Chas Avis Harvest ¼ and ½ marathon Cross-Country Trail every late September and the Buntingford 10 miler every late December.

The Club has a very active Social Committee who organise many fantastic social events for members, friends and families throughout the year.

Royston Runners currently have over 400 members and are keen to welcome more.

So whether you are gentle jogger, social runner or a runner with competitive ambitions if you would like to try out one or more of our sessions before joining please contact us via our website.
